Text: Using Guides
Guides are thin lines that aid with object placement. By default, InDesign adds two types of guides to your documents: margin guides and column guides. Margin guides show page edges; column guides indicate where columns fall.
To add a guide:
Start InDesign and create a new document.
Make sure the rulers are visible. If the rulers are not visible, choose
View > Show Rulers.
Drag from the horizontal ruler down into the document to create a guide.
As you drag, the guide appears as a thin blue line.
You can see the guide’s position on the ruler and beside the pointer.
Release the mouse at the 1-inch mark to place the guide.

SAYYARA’25 – A Journey to Remember
SAYYARA’25 was not just a trip; it was a beautiful chapter of memories written in the hearts of the 3rd and 4th class students of Darul Hidaya Da’wa College, Manoor. Our journey took us through the breathtaking destinations of Munnar, Anakkulam, and Mankulam, filling our minds with joy, adventure, and unforgettable experiences.
The journey began with great excitement. Laughter, nasheeds, and friendly conversations filled the bus as we traveled through winding roads surrounded by green hills and misty clouds. When we reached Munnar, we were welcomed by cool weather, tea gardens, and stunning mountain views. The fresh air and scenic beauty instantly refreshed our souls. Every corner of Munnar felt like a postcard coming to life.
One of the most thrilling parts of SAYYARA’25 was the off-road jeep trekking. The rugged roads, muddy paths, and steep slopes made our hearts race with excitement. As the jeep bounced through forests and rocky tracks, we shouted with joy and encouragement. The adventurous ride brought us closer as brothers, strengthening our bond through shared excitement and teamwork.
Our visit to Anakkulam was truly special. Known for its peaceful environment and natural beauty, Anakkulam gave us a calm and refreshing experience. The greenery, flowing streams, and serene atmosphere helped us connect with nature. It was a perfect place to relax and reflect while enjoying the beauty Allah has created.
